Kelly Kremkau
"Born and raised Floridian from Vero Beach."
Kelly Ann Kremkau is 12 years old — born and raised Floridian from Vero Beach. She is in 7th Grade and is home schooled to allow for more time with her horse and trainer Sarah Schlaich and to travel for races.
She has been riding horses for about 3 years and has been competing in barrel races for about a year in a half. She is a current member of NBHA (National Barrel Horse Association) and is actively competing in her district.
Kelly currently helps out with the lessons program at Whispering Pines Equestrian in Fellsmere, Florida, with younger and newer riders. She would like to continue to teach others how to ride and be like her instructor Sarah when she grows up.
She rides a 17 year old sorrel appendix horse named Roxy.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to campgrounds with her family and close friends, and riding four wheelers with them as well. Kelly also loves going to Disney World. She also enjoys trail riding with her barn family.
Goals:
Kelly would like to go to youth world and qualify for world for NBHA for next year, as this year is shot out. She is also determined to earn her first buckle instead of buy one.
