Addison Scalzo

Hi, my name is Addison Scalzo. I recently moved to Nashville, Tennessee from Las Vegas, Nevada. I started racing BMX in February 2021. Since then I have been training hard every day to improve my skills. I started off as a 12 year old novice and made my way up to intermediate very quickly. Intermediate was definitely a harder class for me but I still managed to make my way to the girls expert class!
I race for our family race team that we call Ahead Racing. My brother (Steven), My two younger sisters (Paisley and Summer), and my Mom (Samantha), are a part of this team. My Dad is our Team manager and we have a great group of friends and family that support us in all we do.
I ride a flat black Stay Strong V4, with royal blue Answer pinnacle wheels, Answer bars and hubs, promax 160mm cranks, royal blue HT clipless pedals, Stay Strong seat and seat post, royal blue ELEVEN stem, and a JW front sprocket.
My goals for the future are to achieve the State and Gold Cup titles in my new state of Tennessee and the SouthEast region. I will also start trying to make my way to the top of the National Age Group board. I have competed against some of the fastest world ranked riders my age and I know with hard work and training I will one day be able to beat them. I will continue training hard to further improve my skills and riding ability.
