Abigail Lax

Im Abigail Lax. I'm 27 years old and have been racing for about 5 years. I do all sorts of racing ranging from Ice Racing, Rallycross, Autocross, Time Attack, Drag and SXS Racing. I obviously love to go fast but I also love nature, going on adventures across the country and hitting up the north wood trails; with or without wheels.
The adrenaline of going fast started when I was a baby. My dad would strap me up in his '77 T-Bird and we would hit the Friday night drags whether he we competing or not. Hearing the engines scream was an adrenaline in itself that it made me want to drag race someday. Over the years, my passion for anything with an engine and wheels grew stronger and finally, I got the curouage to try autocross. My first year officially competing, I won Rookie of the Year (2019). I then added Drag Racing, Rallycross and Time Attack to the list and by 2021 I made Top 15 Driver of the Year out of 219 for FVSCC. This past year I dipped my toes in SXS Racing and ended up winning the 2022 Class Champion of PowderPuff. Competing in a variety of vehicles have taught me so much already but I cant wait to learn more!
