Isabela Boneta

My name is Isabela Boneta, age 22 as of May 14th. I live in Rockford,Illinois. I started riding horses when I was six years old, been around horses and working with horses most my life. I have been racing horses the last three years. I started racing when I got my most recent horse Frost. Frost is an 8 year old, Quarter horse mare who loves to run. Last year for racing we improved a lot from our first year, placing in top 5 for pole bending and improving on our barrel race times every race. I received the Sportsmanship Traveling Trophy for 2019 for always being kind and helping others, always having a smile on my face and how I work with my horse.

I mainly race in Illinois, my goal for racing is to improve our times and to travel to different states for racing to help expand our opportunities for learning and meeting new people. I have raced in the Professional Championship Bull riders Tour Rodeo in 2019 and 2020 at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, Rice Bulls & Barrel and Next Level Pro during the summer of 2019.

Excited to get back to racing once we are able to again! Some of my hobbies include: motocross, I ride a Honda CRF150 and want to work towards racing next season. I also enjoy kickboxing, Jiu-jistu and MMA, if I am not at the stables or track I am at the gym.

A little about me: I am in school for Equine Science and will graduate next spring. My career goal is to get into Hippotherapy which is using horses as therapy to help other people. I love working with horses and helping people in anyway I can.
